Description

For many summers, Pedlar Press publisher and in-house editor Beth Follett directed the Creative Writing programme at Centauri Summer Arts Camp [www.centauri.on.ca], a wonderful summer artspace that helps to alter the painful geek identities young artists carry throughout a school year into those of emerging practicing artists of every stripe. In celebration of Centauri's tenth year, a collection of the finest writing was gathered, including works by very young campers through to older campers-turned-counsellors, counsellors-turned-directors, and other gorgeous permutations of the camp artist. This collection has proven itself to be an extremely valuable tool for teachers of theatre and creative writing for young people.
